Can’t you hear

The birds crying

In the trees?

They cry out to you,

Didn’t you look up

To see the sun crying?

His tears fell

Through the clouds

Wetting the ground.

And he screamed to you,

“STAY, STAY, STAY!”

As you start

Running away,

Didn’t you hear

My footsteps

Chasing after you?

And didn’t you

Hear me shouting

To you?

“STAY, STAY, STAY!”
