Wishing that just for one night when the stars are shining bright and the moon glows amazingly
That on that night my dream would come true
You would be there and I would be happy
You’d be something real not a figure of my imagination
My life would change because you were there
That’s what I used to think
You’re not important to me anymore
I don’t need you anymore
You’re just a shadow in my life that is beginning to vanish
I don’t think you were ever really important to me
You were just there in my way, and I couldn’t see through you
Now I realize you’re just another person in my life
Someone that just means nothing
Someone that I just don’t want or need to care about
Someone that just no longer matters.
