NOTE: This schedule was revised on June 16. Since we didn’t have any entries and there was some confusion about voting and entering at the same time. If this confuses you please ask in the comments and we’ll make sure it is clear. Basically, we are going to have an entry period each month during the 1st through 15th. Voting will happen during the 16th through the 30th of each month (except February of course). This June/July contest is extra long to adjust the schedule for the new submission and voting periods.

Welcome to Jot A Bit! Jot a Bit is a creative writing community where writers share poems, short stories, feedback, encouragement and more.

As you can see I am need of some serious writing help. If you enjoy writing and sharing your creative ideas we definitely will enjoy reading them. You can earn prizes, learn to write better, and receive valuable feedback from fellow writers.

Every month, we will have a general writing contest. Anyone can enter their own personal work. At the end of each month, the Jot A Bit community will vote for the best entry from the previous month. There is no single judge because the judges are your peers.
