We had another great turnout in the June 2010 writing contest. There were 72 entries total and the winner is….”Are You Awake Yet?” by Mandi H. Spencer. I couldn’t help but laugh while reading this fun little story. Whether you have kids or only remember being a kid yourself, this funny story rings true and will bring back some sort of memory. I guess now we need to find out from Mandi if this is fiction or non-fiction!

Mandi wins one of my handmade pens. I only have a few of these left, but I’ll come up with something good as the writing contests continue.

Congratulations to the latest writing contest winner. This month there were 25 entries and the voting resulted in a tie for first place. As the tie breaker, I chose - Man of Happiness written by Jeremie18. There were a lot of great entries this time. Thank you everyone for entering the contest.
